Digital Safety Culture Training III /free/
Remember that emergencies can occur even if everything is digitally controlled. Train all employees, managers and supervisors on emergency procedures.
Include a module in your training on what you need to know in an emergency. Include the following information in your emergency action plan:
- How to recognise an emergency? Give examples of emergency scenarios.
- How to report an emergency. Explain who workers should contact and how.
- How emergencies will be announced to the workers. Is there a special siren or announcement, can everyone make it, can workers see and hear it?
- Specify what to do in certain emergencies. For example, should workers evacuate or take shelter?
- In case of a possible fire, how should the fire intervention be done?
Professional Tip:
Provide more detailed training for people with specific responsibilities, e.g., people authorised to use the digital programme, people responsible for communicating with authorities, managing evacuations or assisting people with special needs.
