Development:

  1. Present the report to the students and discuss its content, emphasizing the importance of greening workplaces.
  2. Divide the students into groups and assign them a place of work (it can be a real or fictitious company).
  3. Each group must design an action plan to green the assigned workplace, considering aspects such as energy saving, waste management and the adoption of sustainable practices.
  4. The groups should present their action plans to the rest of the class, explaining the proposed measures and the expected benefits.
  5. The class will discuss the plans presented and choose the best action plan, considering the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed measures.
  6. Finally, students will be invited to implement some of the proposed measures in their own workplace or at home, promoting responsibility and autonomy in decision-making and the application of sustainable practices.

This activity helps to foster in students’ knowledge about the importance of greening workplaces, as well as the development of planning and organization skills. In addition, it promotes responsibility and autonomy in decision-making, since students must design and present their own action plans. Finally, the activity also promotes environmental awareness and the application of sustainable practices in the work and personal environment of the students.
